ECIBE Renovates the Drawing Hall of the City Planning Department at SPU
On January 2019, ECIBE completed the renovation of the drawing hall at the City Planning Department, Technical College of Engineering, Sulaimani Polytechnic University. This project aimed to improve the academic environment for students and support the department with a more functional and comfortable learning space.
Why This Matters
Drawing halls are essential for architecture and planning students. They are the place where ideas begin, designs take shape, and future planners develop their skills. A well-equipped and organized space helps students focus, think creatively, and work more efficiently. By renovating this hall, ECIBE contributed not only to the quality of the facility but also to the growth of future engineers and planners in Kurdistan.
Main Highlights of the Renovation
The renovation focused on creating a cleaner, brighter, and more practical environment. Improvements included better layout organization, upgraded surfaces, and enhanced usability of the hall. These changes provide students with a space that supports accurate drawing, teamwork, and long study sessions. The project also reflects ECIBE’s commitment to supporting educational institutions and improving spaces that directly influence learning outcomes.
Conclusion
This renovation is part of ECIBE’s continuous effort to strengthen educational infrastructure and empower the next generation of engineers. By improving the drawing hall at SPU, ECIBE helped create a better academic atmosphere that will serve students for many years. If you want, we can continue with the next activity as well.
